It is almost that time of year......

[Husker_Fan]

With most schools in the BDD without any sort of football team in the running I was wondering people's thoughts on the up and coming Quiz Bowl season.

MY PREDICTIONS:

It will come down to Haysi and Honaker just like it always does.

[Dunduin]

I got Haysi winning it all baby! They have a guy in there now answering more questions than thier captain Stephen Marney! With thier combined force thier going to state!

[spazz]

Yes, as sad as I am to loose in practice sometimes, Charlie is kickin butt over here in Haysi. I think we are doing, well we got a combined 300 points between us today in a practice match today. We are shaping up to be an even more jovial team than last year, it brings tears of joy to my eyes. Although nobody really cares about academics, the BDD academics teams have the best chances out of all the rest of the teams to go to state in my opinion. I think two BDD teams can go to state for academics this year.

but as for my prediction I think we at Haysi can win them all. Let's just hope that there aren't any fire alarms this year to break people's concentration right before a match starts, you gotta hate it when that happens. I am sure that that was purely coincidense though, I mean who would pull that fire alarm right before the deciding game for the district championship?

[Dunduin]

Hey it may have been magic man! I've been watching a lot of harry potter and I think I can pull some of that stuff off! Or maybe it was a ghost! You know those ghosts at Twin Valley high love pulling those fire alarms. Right when we're getting ready to play Honaker is a great time for it! I'm sure they found it funny! It had to be ghosts! Ghosts must have kept Honaker outside for about 5 extra minutes too! Yeah that was it!

[strider18]

Oh yeah...the fire alarm had to be coincidence...someone was probably just lighting one up in the bathroom. Buuuut anyways...Haysi will win it all, just like they should have last year...they will have to overcome the severe loss of last year's co-captain and spiritual leader, Jonathan Puckett, but maybe....just maybe...it can be done.

[gobigred]

i think robby colley had a lot do with haysi's success last year also jonathan puckett did a great job but i sorta think that the marney feller and colley we the co-captains
